We were seated at a table behind a wall facing the front door and by a set of stairs going upstairs which was very busy. We are an interracial couple this isn’t the first time we have been given the worst table at a restaurant so it’s interesting that out of all the tables they placed us there. I ordered a cheese appetizer really bad. I was given crumbled end of the bag potato chips to dip in this very tart cheese? That tasted like cheese mixed with sour cream. The braised beef dish was good but lots of fat in it which was gross.
Pre- theatre dinner which satisfied on all counts. Varied and interesting cocktail program. Their gougeres are a favorite to nibble on with our cocktails. Two of us had the fish and chips special which was light crisp and spot on. The other dish was their roasted cauliflower with a many layered satisfying flavor. Our desserts ranged from the classic floating island to profiteroles to a Mille feuille. All excellent. Highly recommend the Brasserie.
each court was better than the last. they don't pay $18 for a ham and cheese sandwich with mornay occupied with an egg, unless the said egg is perfect. of course it was. we have selected several entrees and held our server with wein pairings. if any employee is as knowledgeable and adaptable as he, they cannot go wrong to do the same. it is not cheap, but eat and service like this should not be. treat yourself!
Took a friend for her birthday dinner. Overall very nice. A little loud as the restaurant was full and we were at the peak dinner hour. Also could be im not as acclimated to restaurant sounds since Covid messed with inside dining! Food very good. My roasted chicken was just a tad salty but still moist and delicious! Dessert was awesome and they did a candle for my friend. Great service! A fine night out

celebrate another semester in the books with a Sunday evening outside. it started with a beautiful delicious cheeseboard, accompanied by a sparkling rosé, and a few amazing cocktails. that were just the cheating of a wonderful evening. alyssa brought so much warm, know and excellent on our table, it made it truly unforgettable thanks to the cook and alyssa we were really blown away.
The food was as always very good. Our reservation was for 8 pm. We had a few appetizers that were very good but it must have taken 25 mins before the entrees came out and this was true for the tables beside us. I don’t believe this was the servers fault but the kitchen. Before we were done including dessert it was 9:45 pm.
I have been several times- nice ambiance but very noisy in the main seating area Cocktails were very good. Food was good but not as good as my previous experiences Pricey for what I selected and very small portion size and I am not a huge portion kind of person
5/1/22: was always one of my favorite restaurants in st. louis so disappointed. service was not good. remover and salat 40 min after order get out and lures 90 min after ordering. was misleading in trout that always my favorite trout in stl.

Wonderful food, service, and room ambiance. It is just too noisy, however. Will eat there less because of that.
5 stars. service, atmosphere and eating were excellent, we cannot wait to return.
