Brasserie De L'etoile

A Tuesday evening in high season (last week) and the place was empty. There were 12 of us dining. I ordered the entrecote as did three others and I asked for mine to be well done. This request was ignored and mine arrived, like the others, medium rare. I asked for it to be cooked some more and this was attended to. The steaks were served with a pile of re cooked soggy, greasy frites. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger which contained nothing that had even a passing resemblance to cheese just yellow slime yuk!

Leisurely lunch in the pretty shaded garden at the back of this restaurant/ bar. Good service. €15 for menu of the day. Couscous salad , duck leg , chips and salad, delicious cheese cake. Many tables in the garden had been reserved.

We have visited a few times now. Always a friendly welcome. Food well priced and delicious. Dog is also always made very welcome. New owners have made this a go to bar restaurant. Keep up the good work David.

Good, honest restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices. Very good carpaccio, exceptional cesar salad and good steak. Very nice Chardonnay (recommended) at a sensible cost.

Beautiful courtyard covered out the back.. Great food, wonderful service.. Definitely worth a lunchtime homemade burger or a romantic evening meal!
