We had two weeks in Montauroux and ate here three times with doubt the best atmosphere; the tasty food and the most friendly restaurant in the city (there were only three!). The pizza was wonderfully well decorated; delicious fresh ingredients and inexpensive. Salad Niçoise was excellent; the Entrecôte was beautiful in the mouth. Even the fish burger (nounces the unfrenchness of the name was delicious. Portions were always generous. As a family of six it is not always easy to speculate in the restaurants; but on our first two visit tables were moved, people re arranged and chairs found to make sure we had a place to eat. Popular spot for locals to Meet and catch up and a good spot for lunch, coffee etc in the centre of Montauroux. Dog friendly child friendly and a good selection of fairly inexpensive meals from pizzas to pasta and burgers Having eaten here a couple of times we have had two good meals and two bad meals out of four each time service has been very variable also depending on time of day shift change) and staffing Pizzas were nice but the burgers were so undercooked and cold we saw the table next to us left more than half of theirs also The Gambas pasta was very nice though Nice for a daytime pizza, an ice cream stop and a hot or cold drink .. you can see the world go by. We had a few hours to kill before we checked into our aparthotel. We found this place by chance and were all tired, hot hungry. The terrace is great for people to watch and also has a welcome fog spray in what was a very hot day. The peculiarities of the day were pork, beef or Dorada. My wife has the pig that came with beautiful fresh vegetables and potatoes. I had the fish with rice and fresh vegetables. One son had pasta and the other two children had burgers. Fresh bread and a dip were also delivered. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable (the speciality was only €12 per). This place is definitely worth a visit.

Great value plat du jour under canopies in place. We stayed here in summer for a drink and you can't move, but on a warm September day it was heavenly. We could even park 5 meters away. We had duck, pork and veal stew, all perfect. Wine, beer and coffee made the meal like a nice service, with the waitress dodging the traffic over the street.

Four of us had a very good lunch here. Great service. Two had the set-lunch menu, very good food and excellent cafe-gourmand and the other two had the dish de jour. Food and service were excellent for the money.
