I met my friend in town for a lunch before Christmas and we decided that the menu of the day here was attractive. I love to eat game when I have the opportunity and the main dish of the day was the red-fruited jar. We both chose the same main dish and it was absolutely delicious. the price for 3 dishes with a glass of wine or an included coffee was 13 euros. I'm not used to taking an aperitif at lunchtime but as it was Christmas, we both ordered kir, one with wall and one with blackcurrant. It was the only disappointing part of the meal because so little liqueur had been added that we simply couldn't taste it. I have to give a very big thank you to Ernest, Susie and Xavier for making my husband's surprise lunch such a surprise! We have been coming to Uzes for quite a few years and this is my husband's favourite place for a glass of...wine, the plat du jour or anything they recommend. It was a Saturday so a very busy market day and they kindly catered for 17 people with superb food, wine, dessert and coffee. If you are in Uzes please don't just pass this cafe call in have a drink or a meal it is superb.
It's an incredible little brewery in uzès. the dish of the day of duck with vegetables was exceptional. The duck was perfect. the staff is really friendly and we have had a lot of fun with our mediocre mastery of the French language. the recommended wine, a rose, was excellent and at a reasonable price. excellent range of desserts and good coffee.

we chose this place largely on the aroma of the dish of the day eaten on the outdoor tables. Our nose was just on the mark. My wife ordered the chicken-day dish at the Provencal and I had the niçoise salad. We ended up sharing both and being very satisfied with both. the service overcame all language barriers.
I went to the fournil with my best friend for a lunch date. The welcome was warm and really kind. The food was good presented, and good. Even if the restaurant is near to the boulevard, is not to loud. I really enjoyed my lunch...thank you very much le Fournil!
excellent food and good value for money. I had chèvre chaud. the accompanying salad was delicious, coated in a delicious dressing. my friends had fish and chips that were also delicious. the personal is friendly and attentive
we stopped here for lunch and did not speak French, we ordered the table d'hôte and it was a pintade with tree rice and cooked vegetables, the best of all time.
