Three of us stopped in for hot drinks, then stayed for dinner. We chose the Menu Stras for which is good value for a three course meal. I did not enjoy my Gaspacho, but after tasting it I don't think I would like the...dish anyway! I really enjoyed the Vegetarian lasagna with a local twist and topped with goat's cheese. I enjoyed the creme Brule though it didn't need the pistachio variation as it is delicious by itself. Despite comments from previous posts that service was lacking, we did not find this to be the case. The host was welcoming and helpful. Sunny terrace at the end of a parking. Nice. Food is otherwise. Service is really bad. The personnel does not know the table numbers and keeps bringing wrong stuff. The kitchen is worse. The tartare au couteau is of very low quality, no fillet of...beef there! And you are supposed to prepare it yourself on your plate but there is no space to do so. Coffee is dark overroast. And afterwards you have to wait for a long time next to the cashiers; although servers saw us, they continued to talk and would not do their jobs. No way I will return there!!!
Je ne parle pas du restaurant, mais du café. Si vous voulez prendre un verre l'après-midi, prenez votre mal en patience. En effet plusieurs fois j'ai quitté la terrasse au bout d'un quart d'heure, car le jeune personnel passe à coté de vous sans vous voir et sans rien vous demander, le nez rivé sur leur appareil ou discutant sur le pas de la porte sans s'occupper de la clientèle.Plusieurs tables sont en permanence en attente du service,pourtant il n'y a pas foule l'après-midi.Heureusement d'autres cafés vous accueillerons avec efficacité.
Je suis habituée des lieux comme on dit, et depuis deux ans je constate à regrets la dégradation de l'établissement qui ne reflète vraiment pas la réputation qu'il avait acquise. Service long et désordonné, très long (attente moyenne pour une boisson 15 minutes), pour le prix, rien d'extraordinaire dans les salades, qui n'ont pas changé depuis des lustres. On sent bien que le service "bar" n'est pas la priorité....Un turn-over incessant au niveau du personnel...

The only reason I ate at Brasserie Le Strasbourg was because of it's historical connection with the French Resistance during It was a clandestine meeting place for resistantes and a dead letter box for secret messages. However it was also a good choice for...the food and the service, as well as being in a good town centre location.Could not be faulted. I reckon very few visitors know of the connection!
The restaurant is serving a good variety of products. It's nothing crazy but the price and the offer are consistent. We advice to go for the speciality or the fishes instead of the common meals you can have anywhere. The staff is really friendly. The...room is big and can be a bit noisy, it's something to consider if you want to spend a quite evening...!
We happened upon this restaurant and were not disappointed with our meals. She had truite mreunière whilst he invested in the local fare, Ballotine chicken breast rolled around a slice of ham with cheese a delight. The staff were helpful and the food...reasonably priced. If you happen to be in the area this popular establishment is well worth a visit.
Nous arrivons à 22h et on nous fait un très bon accueil, à la recherche de produits locaux nous trouvons notre bonheur.Les prix sont corrects et la brasserie ne manque pas de cachet.Les assiettes sont très copieuses.Une adresse à retenir.

The waiting was good and the preparation time was minimal and the variety was brasserie-standard, wine list less so. The food was average and not vry inspiring esp. thew nicotine, the rest rather run of the mill automata.
We sat outside for our meal which was very pleasant. The service was good and the food was excellent. Good value too.
