Heimeliges Hexenhäuschen. Gegenüber der Rugenbräu Brauerei wurden wir auf das Brauistübli aufmerksam. Das erstaunlich geräumige Lokal ist heimelig eingerichtet. Die Bedienunng ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Haxe war von einen rechten Kaliber und die as Beilage bestellten neuen frittierten Kartoffeln waren ausgezeichnet gewürzt. Der Hirschpfeffer wurde wie es sich gehört mit Rosenkohl, Rotkraut und Spätzli sowie der Birne mit Preiselbeeren serviert. Geschmeckt hat er hervorragend. Insbesondere die Sauce war bemerkenswert. For the price the food is absolutely ok! It's a shame that it is not clearly stated (on the door and on the card) that credit cards are not accepted. If you read the comments here it's even more incomprehensible. Just to leave no doubt: I have no problem with the paying guest having to adapt to the innkeeper (and not the other way around as usual). What I find irritating, however, is that apparently nothing is learned from the comments and the fault is only looked for in the other person. A little self-reflection certainly wouldn't hurt!
Urchig und trotzdem Liebe zum Detail. Es gibt währschafte und saisonale Gerichte. Es gibt auch Snacks und natürlich die regionale Spezialität: Meringues mit Rahm. Alles zu einem fairen Preis und mit einem Lächeln serviert. Trotz der Affinität zur Brauerei hat es auch Wein. Definitiv ein Ort zum gern haben und wo man nicht im Stich gelassen wird. Ausserdem wird Schweizerdeutsch gesprochen.
Great food, terrible service. All during the meal was very nice, but it took 15 minutes after the review until they brought it, then another 5 minutes to get the change. There were only 6 more tables in the restaurant on a slow Tuesday afternoon. They also do not take credit cards, but do not show that before time.

Dieses kleine Restaurant gegenüber einer Brauerei ist leicht zu überholen, aber Sie sollten anhalten und die traditionellen Gerichte probieren. Der Geschmack in allen Speisen ist unglaublich und der Preis noch besser. Dieses versteckte Juwel wird mich wiedersehen.
a must try if you want to taste traditional swiss food … all the food is very fresh, savory and delicious … we had pork steak, ham and eggs, sausage everything are excellent and price is reasonable too…
Great food, great service! The prices are also completely fair. The pork knuckle tasted very tasty.
