Breizh Café - Reserva de mesa

I like crepes. I like galettes. But not sure if i like a three course meal based on them. It's probably me. But you can have too much. That said. They do them exceptionally well. The fillings are varied and the lagoustine one I had was really good. For dessert the apple, almond and chocolate one again was seriously good. I just felt that I had eaten way too many carbs in a meal. Not a bad thing but perhaps some more non crepe options other than the oysters. The wine was good. The cider was excellent. The service was very good. We were tired and hungry and the food came promptly and was fresh.

This is a popular crêperie on the seafront at cancale, so if you can book, do so. The crêperie was the highest rated in the town, so we decided to try it out. However we discovered it is also significantly more expensive without being so much better than the others. House galettes are close to 15 Euros, which is paris price territory. While the galette was nice, it wasn’t fantastic and certainly not 15 euros fantastic. Add to that the massive margins on the cider and the horrible ambiance in the dining room, I ate my galette and left as soon as possible. I can’t imagine going back.

We arrived early on a rainy night and this was a cozy, easy, quick place to have crepes for dinner. They were tasty thought nothing that would lead me to understand the fame this place has (sadly, we didn't get to try the Table de Breizh as it was closed that day). But definitely a sold pick in Cancale if you are tired of oysters and mussels and want to try something else. Very inexpensive.

The Japanese restaurant upstair which we experienced last summer was quite stylish. Today we tried the crêperieIt was OK, nothing social except the great localisation.To feel any bit of Japanese influence you have at least to try the green tea ice cream which is not that special.The marketing positioning is rather smart but nothing real Japanese at the end of the day.Ok place. The sarrasin crêpes (galettes) are excellent, but the restaurant fell short on service speed and friendliness. The butter sugar crêpes for desert hardly had butter in them and did not taste like anything special. The cider selection is impressive.

Visited here while on holiday and was very impressed. The food was amazing and all the staff very helpful and friendly and looked after my family very well. The crepes were outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend this cafe anytime!

The pancakes are tasteful and the cook seemed to have Japanese executions! Take dirty crêpes or sugars or crêpes with buckwheat ice cream or yuzu or ginger caramel...this is the most intense Japanese fusion inspiration!

I love galettes and crepes in Brittany and have never had better ones than here - especially their specialty galettes. Well worth paying the extra price Reserva una mesa ahora
