We had lunch in the winter garden a week ago and were absolutely thrilled. Very nice, harmonious menu, matching and surprising wine recommendations and very warm and courteous service. The atmosphere in the winter garden with its tasteful ambience and opulent floral decorations is unique anyway. It would only be a wish for the hotel that more guests would find their way here during the construction work on the hotel. In any case, it doesn't detract from the enjoyment. We would love to come back!
I came here because I wanted to try Pierre Herme's afternoon tea. Reservations are required from the website. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, so we sat inside, but the terrace seats looked very comfortable. Since it's a hotel, the lobby and cafe have a nice atmosphere. The afternoon tea sweets were chocolate, macaroons, and madeleines, but no cake. The savory and scones were also delicious. If I come again, I would like to have cake on the terrace.
The hotel has incredible character and the restaurant is not to be outdone. No need to stay there to have lunch or dinner. The terrace is sumptuous, the tables next to the watercourse offer a very pleasant sound ambiance. Guaranteed disconnection. The service is very good, the dishes are simple and tasty. No complaints. The prices are above average for relatively classic dishes but it's definitely worth it.
On July 1st, 2024 we celebrated a double birthday in the Wintergarten restaurant! The expectations were very high! The food was sensational! The textures, the presentation are outstanding and the service is subtle but friendly and unobtrusive! The taste of our self-prepared dishes is outstanding and a culinary revelation! The only criticism was the cheese plate at the end of our menu! Some types of cheese
