As a party of four, we were promptly seated in a comfortable booth. Our server was close behind with water and a brief explanation of the specials Mushroom month . He was timely and unobtrusive, yet attentive. The appys came out before the mains with freshly ground pepper and parma with every dish and course. One party was vegan and the kitchen put an impromptu fresh pasta dish with available veggies and tomato sauce with the briefest of explations (no cheese). Two pizzas, four cheese and Marguerita, and two fresh pasta dishes, mushroom ravioli and 'special ' fettucini, came out hot and handsome with nary a crumb or drop of sauce left when the plates were cleared. Charming casual Italian eatery. The food was decent, but unfortunately, there were no vegan pasta options available—every pasta dish contained cheese, meat, or both. The pizza portions were quite generous for a single serving; it felt like a 10 or 12-inch pie, unlike some places where you get a tiny 6-7 inch individual pizza. Not here! The prices are reasonable, and I believe the pizza offers the best value. Service was outstanding. However, a word of warning: the chairs are extremely hard! I could feel the wooden seat against my bones, even though they appear cushioned. Overall, I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars. We were very pleased to be able to book with you for a larger group through Open Table. We would definitely do so again for business. As our business guests were so keen on repeating an experience from the previous day, we were forced to change the group reservation to accommodate myself my husband only. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and the service provided. Thank you.

We miss them when they closed the south side location and tried the other locations and they are in no way to match the quality of food and service from the Southside. Went here for an anniversary dinner. Not busy at all and everything came to the table quickly. Brie bruschetta and short ribs were delicious. Other food (lobster and salmon coquette and veal canneloni) was good but not amazing and expected a bit more flvor. Val was a wonderful server!

Great all aspects! Val wonderful service. Food was great portion and tasted great. Only the pollo parmisan thought was a little too salty. But still delicious. Tiramisu was a game changer!

The restaurant was chilly, but they made an effort to help by turning off the air conditioning. My wife was feeling quite cold.
