I've been on a pub kick ever since my recent trip across the pond to the UK, and lemme tell you that Brick Store does not disappoint! This pub is large and spans 2 floors and multiple rooms so chances are you won't have to wait for a table. My most recent trip was a couple days before Christmas when it seemed like just about everyone was out and about in Decatur and we were still able to get a table right away even though the pub was packed. The space is very inviting with plenty of cozy nooks to sit back and have a pint. And true to its name, lots of exposed brick! There are multiple bars to serve your needs. They have an extensive drink selection which includes soo many beers, as well as wine and cocktails. I usually stick to one of the local brews on draft- or lately- the spiced pear hot toddy, which is like a warm alcoholic hug in a mug. I've only eaten there once, but they have all the usual pub grub- fish and chips, burgers, pot roast, big pretzels, etc. My friend and I got the fried pierogies and turkey sandwich to split. I highly recommend the fried pierogies! They are delicious and come with a brown butter pecan and sage sauce, so good! The turkey sandwich was delicious as well and was elevated with the addition of arugula, rye bread and peppers. Our bill came to about $45 each after splitting those 2 dishes and 3 drinks each, which is very reasonable!

Brick Store Pub is a Decatur Square classic and, in my opinion, has the most beautiful furnishings in the city. The terraced seating and the eclectic bar feel are exceptionally well made, and between the Belgian bar and the outside seat (front and back) there are many possibilities for your culinary experience. Absolutely a good time. One thing I loved about Brick Store is the simplicity of the menu. They do not offer excessive amount of options, but you know that what you get will be consistent and well done. My brother and I have the classic burger and my friend the Perogies. Everything was delicious, though maybe something overpriced. As for the missing star, her service was not what he could be. There was a little Hiccup at the beginning with the host and seating, but that was good. It also took our server about five minutes to welcome us, and another five minutes to get out for the water. The uniforms (or their lack) also struck me as strange. The owners of the restaurant put so much work in a beautiful interior, but the representatives of this interior (the front of the house staff) were sports like Columbus State T-shirts, flanels and hoodies. Apart from the service speed and shabby dress, but it was a pleasant experience.

If you're a beer person, Brick Store Pub is likely your kinda place. It's my kinda place, too ... and I abhor beer! Perfect for lunch, the pub is housed in a building clearly saturated in history (though I have no idea what that history is. In other words, the place is OLD, and it's retained its charm. With an emphasis on upscale bar food, every dish hit its mark: My friend's turkey sandwich looked ordinary, but without me prompting him he said it was delicious, with a melding of flavors and perfectly melted gouda. T who's big on pork sandwiches said this is amongst the best he's had. He doesn't know what's in it, but I do! Pulled Spanish pork, Manchego, broccoli rabe and red peppers. Served on a crisp hoagie roll, my grilled shrimp po' boy was redolent of roasted garlic and pepper aioli. Plenty of shrimp, as you can see in the photo.Decatur Square is one of my favorite neighborhoods, with Brick Store Pub adding to the character of the area. A good vantage for people watching, there's seating out front which I'll opt for in better weather.

My friends and I really enjoyed this craft beer bar and restaurant located in the heart of downtown Decatur, Georgia. It has an extensive selection of craft beers, both on tap and in bottles, as well as its menu of pub-style food and Southern specialties. The pub has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a historic brick building, wood-paneled walls, and a warm and friendly staff. You can tell it is a popular spot for both locals and tourists as there was always a line despite the massive amount of seating they had . It is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that both families and groups of friends can enjoy together.I honestly drank enough that I can't remember much else, but the food was tasty clearly made with fresh ingredients with an expert Southern touch.Overall, the Brick Store Pub is a top-notch establishment that offers a wide range of craft beers and tasty pub-style food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is a must-visit destination for anyone in the Decatur area looking for a high-quality craft beer experience.
