What a find! We stumbled across this pub on the way home from Marwell zoo. The staff and the customers (I assume locals) were incredibly friendly! We had a noisy 18 month old with us and everyone was so sweet with her and chatting to us. The garden is set up with some Lego and a little sandpit for children which is a lovely touch. Our food then arrived….beautiful! Really good food and the portions are huge!! We will definitely make a point of stopping by here again. What a find
Updated on Saturday, July 20th. The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced once again. I highly recommend eating here when you're in Midhurst. The Bricklayers Arms is the perfect pub to visit in the area - it's friendly, bustling, and offers fantastic pub food. What more could you ask for? P.S. Don't forget that darts night is on Thursdays. A small but friendly pub in the centre of Midhurst's Old Town. A popular pub with the locals. Dog friendly. Traditional pub food. I chose the scampi and chips and my fellow dinner ham, chips and double egg. Huge portions. Nicely cooked, presented and delicious.

Great pub, well stocked bar with a good selection of ales. Always a great place for a pint and a chat with the locals.
