This review is based exclusively on a gluten-free Chewy Roll and Caramel Macchiato with oat milk that I had supplied by DoorDash. The caramel Macchiato was perfect, according to my taste. It was a well-designed latte with slightly foamed and freshly tasted oat milk. There was only enough caramel to add a caramel flavor and a bit of sweetness. I could taste all the elements of the drink - espresso, oat milk and caramel - and they were well balanced. I chose this restaurant primarily to try the Chewy Roll. I am a gluten-tolerant fan of baked goods and I enjoy exploring unique, homemade GF baked goods. I was impressed by the Chewy Roll. Wheat offers baked goods structure, texture, taste, protein and other qualities that are difficult to replicate without wheat. There is no single alternative component that can take the place of wheat, so bakers who create gluten-free breads are forever experimenting to develop recipes that taste good and have good structure and texture. The Chewy Roll is a non-sweet, round crusty roll that resembles a popover with an airy, chewing interior. Garbanzo flour adds protein and complexity of taste, while black sesame seeds balance the metallic notes of Garbanzo flour. The Chewy Roll was a delicious companion to my coffee, both simply and with strawberries.

The coffee shop is all right. The terrace is fun. It has an upper area overlooking the rest of the café. Coffee's OK. But the real standing out is the pastries. I just tried the Matcha scene, but she was thrilled. Unfortunately, it was served on a paperboard and not heated. But that has nothing to say for the quality of the Scones. It was absolutely delicious. I don't know if I'd come back. I also don't know if you need to heat up an actual plate or pastry, but I would definitely try when you visit.

It's okay. The food and drinks are expensive, the food isn't great, and the Wi-Fi is absolutely horrible. But it's a good place to meet up with a friend if you want to sit on a patio.

Super sweet café with tons of outdoor seats. We came to lunch and read and it was pleasant. Many shaded area at the front, so bring a jacket when you get slightly cool!
