We were driving through Bridgewater and straight past the river we saw crowds of people outside the bake house. That was a sign if ever there was one. We pulled over pronto and headed straight in to the ....queue. Luckily that was moving pretty quickly and soon it was our turn. It was getting on in the afternoon and predictably with the hoards, items had sold out but we managed to snag two roast lamb and gravy pies. They certainly looked the business and we headed out to eat. Wow ! Generous pie, pastry held the lot to the last bite, meat was tender and chunky, flavoursome gravy .....and piping hot - the biggest test of the bakers craft. This will be a definite stop on our next road trip - we...
I was told to stop here by a friend as I was driving from Melbourne to Swan Hill. I was warned about the coffee, and told about the great pies so on balance decided to stop here. Had the country steak and veg special and the pie was excellent. The bakery does a huge range of pies, sausage rolls, cakes and sandwiches. Well worth a stop but not one for the coffee lover.
I always stop here on my trips. Food is very fresh & coffee is great. Staff are very pleasant & cheerful. Takeaway or enjoy the passing travellers from one of the outside tables. I once stopped here on closing & the staff still served me coffee which i was very pleased, not many places would do that.
This is a quaint country bakery with a great homemade selection of pies, pasties, cakes etc. Great coffee and friendly staff. The baker is from Cornwall and makes great traditional Cornish pasties.

Had the duck breast appetizer and grilled oystersboth were amazing! The duck breast comes with 2 sauces -a spicy mustard and what seems like a hoisin
I only go here for happy hour @ the Cabana outside (they don't serve appetizers until 4)It's one of the only nice places to eat in Beaumont.
This is a great bakehouse, they make lovely pies, so you need to be there before 5.30 if you want anything to eat for later in the day.
Great bakery with lots of food options. Hot food, cakes and slices, fresh sandwiches and rolls, coffee! Will return on our next visit.

This is a very popular bakery with plenty of motorists stopping for a coffee or snack. The coffee is great and service is good too.
