Brigade, The Fire Station

I met two friends at The Brigade. What a treat! The menu made it tough for me to choose so I made sure I ordered something different from my friends and got to taste main dishes : We had the very tasty foccacia to...start-give it a go-very moreish. The cod, pork chop, aubergine main dishes all tasted great. Food was thoughtfully presented. Staff were attentive and passionate about both the food and wine (we spoke to both the chef and bartender). A bonus when eating in central London is that tables were well-spaced out and we were not hurried through our meal. It is only a minute walk from London Bridge station but is just past a few other restaurants so is perhaps missed by some. Still feels like a bit of a hidden gem! It's also very worthwhile reading the story behind the restaurant-inspiring and worthwhile stuff.

The service was excellent, to the point where the chef shared how he made the AMAZING walnuts in the beetroot salad) and the maitre D got her own anti histamine to share with me (hayfever). Really warm friendly and attentive staff. The food was absolutely...delicious, can't sing the pries highly enough of the bread and yeast butter the beetroot salad is to die for Added bonus is the good work that they do there, not just a faceless chain, it has heart. Highly recommended good vibe restaurant and convenient being so close to London Bridge station.

I walk past on a regular basis and today was the first time I ate there for business lunch. Service was Lunch was well presented and tasted great. Dessert was OMG the salted caramel cheesecake….something else. Not like your traditional cheesecake. A...must visit

My team and I went to Brigade to celebrate being back together. There was a great menu choice and the staff provided really attentive service.

The Brigade has really great buzz. The staff were fun and friendly and the food is great. Good choices for non-meat eaters.
