this traditional pub has the best craft beer in brighton and used to make an amazing, really lax place with vintage chairs and tables where they enjoy their pint and relax comfortably solo or with a large group of friends around every table. the new decoration with the uncomfortable high hockey and tiny high tables is incredibly dense and so involuntary. bring back the old lax, put vintage style with the chairs and tables men!

We were looking for a pub to kill some time before our off-peak train ticket back to the hotel was valid, when we stumbled upon this small jewel in a side road of Brighton. A big sortiment of keg and cask beers as well as...ciders, fair prices and likeable personnel satisfies the needs of every pub visitor who's looking for a cozy place to explore some beers. Would definitely visit again!

fantastic traditional pub serves first-class real ales and more zider. very knowledgeable friendly staff. the selection of glass was a beautiful note often overlooked.
