Brio Italian Grille

It was my second time eating at Brio, my first time was so enjoyable so I decided to come back for my One Year Anniversary, expecting a nice dinner and pleasant experience. We made the reservation making a note that we were celebrating our anniversary, but not a single person on staff mentioned a thing to us. When we got there, there was no host at the front, and after a few minutes we were checked in by what seemed to be a cook (i am not totally sure) We were placed at a booth instead of a table-clothed table. Expect to spend $30 40 per person Reservations are accepted onlineWe came in around 9 pm so we were a little rushed, but that 's understandable because the restaurant was closing soon. Food was good, though be mindful that it can be quite heavy if you order something with a lot of cheese/sauce (as you 'd expect with Italian food). We came here for an anniversary celebration but they didn 't have that option on the online reservation form, so we chose Birthday . We weren 't offered dessert, which was a little surprising given our selection but understandable because we came in close to Brio 's closing hours (on time for our reservation, however). Overall the dining experience at BRIO Italian Grill at the Irvine Spectrum was good , a three star rating. We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time and then only after I informed the receptionist that we were still waiting. Service was prompt and competent. The environment is attractive both inside and outside. The pollo al forno flatbread and Sicilian spaghetti with shrimp were both ok but not great. There are better choices for dinner at the Irvine Spectrum.

Brio is a great authentic Italian spot at the spectrum with great lunch specials and happy hour. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal and we all got different items. Our service was good and the parking structure is located conveniently next to the restaurant. I will be back for more!
