I wish I could give a positive review on this place as I was told good things about it. However upon arrival, I was told to get a seat I had to “stand up shake bum” according to one of the staff who then proceeded to aggressively grab my body parts. Luckily, he was pulled away soon after. Sat down, ordered a burger, and I was given the burger by a waiter with curly hair who then proceeded to do rancid actions on my food. I pushed him away and then he chased me to my Mini Cooper. Luckily I got inside before he reached me, however he started doing weird things to the exhaust pipe. Don’t believe me? Today’s special was a burger and chips for £4. They could have given me a rustlers burger and frozen chips for that price but they went way above and beyond. The burger was a very generous size (unfortunately the photo doesn’t quite show) and the homemade chips were cooked perfectly! On top of that, the service was great. Would definitely recommend
Excellent food outstanding quality and brilliant priced food, Makes a change not being ripped off. If you are ever in Tewkesbury please pay this pub a visit. We went on a Sunday for a roast dinner and it was outstanding quality and value. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, keep up the good work well done.
The toastie, chips and salad, at just £5 is such a good idea, but instead I opted for a jacket potato. A freshly prepared tuna mayo, with great side salad, the portion was plenty for lunch and only £8. Friendly staff, I'll definitely be back, thank you!

Was trying to eat my meal when the dog who looked friendly at first tried to put me on a lead and then continued to take me on a walk with no way home
Husband had lovely pie. I had jacket potato which was hard only tepid. No checkback staff not friendly. Also only had 1 zero alcohol choice
Popped in for a quick drink. Toilets abysmal staff not at all interested in knowing.
