If you are in Vancouver particularly Commercial ave.... head east and find this place. Bang for the Buck!! How about a $2.95 California maki Roll 8 pcs to start with? a Bento box of $6.25? And you'll be surprise of how tasty they are. I said you'll be surprise because their restaurant doesn't look it will serve good food. Menu books are old. Floors are sticky and ambiance is dark. I guess looks can be really deceiving. Piece of advise, don't ask for their house tea nor tap water. It taste like raw fish too. Just go with a can of pop.
Prices are reasonable and lower than most DT sushi bars. Had the chicken and cattle boxes. Chicken was pretty tasty, beef was hard and chewing. Won clay soup very simple, nothing special. Try it.

Love this place! Had the bento box lunch special, which was under $7. Every effort had been made to provide fresh, tasty food. The tempura was even great. Cooked to perfection.
