Good home cooking and the eggs for probably the best I had in a restaurant in a very long time. The Grips had taste, but they seemed a little fat. Chickens and waffles were good in the chicken is hand-baked. Waffles were at the top. Great service. Edit: The family is back several times in the last few days as we prepare to move on. Lunch was amazing. The roasted pork chops and chicken parmesan specialities were absolutely delicious. Stayed the next day to enjoy a pancake. The eggs are perfect. The Haschbraun breakfast potatoes are perfect. The bacon is crispy and at the point. Oh, and don't forget the sweet potato waffle fries! I added a star:

Great place for breakfast! Why on earth would you go to the Waffle House when this place is in Harvey? Fantastic prices, friendly service and good quality meals. The participants include free community coffee and the atmosphere is unique and welcoming. Loved the chicken and waffles enough to visit again! Will be back when I come back.

Delicious food! Great prices and service. They serve breakfast and daily lunch. Today I took a hot sausage w/ American cheese, fully dressed on toast. Sooo good! I highly recommend it. Supports your local little business!

This restaurant is excellent. Great breakfast and lunch. Our favorite is the western Omelet. Come with toast and potatoes or grits and cookies. Great crew, too. Hungry on the West Bank? Come down.

I got #1 breakfast platter with extra egg over easy and cheesy grits and hash browns food was delicious
