The waiter then took my order, noted on it that it needed to be gluten-free, and assured me that the chef was aware and prepared for my request. However, when my meal arrived and we started eating, a waiter rushed upstairs to inform me that the chef had accidentally added teriyaki sauce to my dish. By that point, I had already eaten half of my meal. It seemed that none of the staff fully understood the seriousness of the situation.
