Browns Socialhouse

We had passed this place a few times, and were curious about the fare. Sunday evening we decided to try it out. The sidewalk outside the front door was quite icy. For an establishment in the hospitality industry, I wasn't impressed. Once inside however, the atmosphere is welcoming. Perhaps because it was a Sunday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty. Well, for us that meant the waitstaff were attentive and the kitchen turned out our selections promptly. The food was served hot and met our standards for flavour. This was our first time eating at Browns Socialhouse and I expected your typical pub/taphouse food, you know, boil in a bag stuff. The food was fantastic, very apparent it is made fresh in house, good variety and pricing is average for this type of dining experience. Went with my kids 8 and 6, ordered from the kids menu, which is verbal, so you won't find it online or on menu, and they really enjoyed it, and it tasted good, plenty of food for them as well, in fact had leftovers for next days lunch. Pleasant atmosphere, all staff we saw were very pleasant, and our server was amazing. Definitely going back.

Very easy, comfortable establishment to watch Hurricanes games. Cocktails are done perfectfully (Browns old fashioned (cucumber gin martini . My menu choices 2 nights in a row were exactly as l expected, prepared well. Great staff, Cody very personable young man our young gal last night (name? was so attentive. Thank you!

Took my son for lunch. The boy had a cheeseburger and I had been craving the corned beef hash since our last visit. Loved it. It was amazing. Fries and gravy from my sons burger were best ever so he said. Service was great. Place was very clean. One of my favorites.

Not my first visit. Enjoyed a good meal. Staffing was excellent. Service times were right on for lunch. Very good menu selections. Would definitely return.
