I came to business lunch and I'm so glad someone chose this place. What a nice, happy place for lunch. The portions are huge and I was stuff. We ordered the nachos to share with Brisket, the Boudin balls and Brussels Sprouts. They were delicious. I had her lunch special I think? I loved her bride because it is a great combination of fat and lean meat. I'm just picky because I like my meat fat... Really cute farm atmosphere. What was the most, is our server. I cannot remember her name, but she gave the best and most honest recommendations.
What a great experience! My husband and I visited Texas and came to a friend's wedding. We had a taste for grill so we decided to experience this restaurant because of its high rating. Our waiter name was Marilyn and she was amazing; warm, personal and attentive. Marilyn is absolutely a great advantage for the restaurant. She's one of the reasons we're back. Besides the great service the food was soooo delicious. If you are looking for a great customer service and delicious food, you must try this restaurant.
Two words. Sit down! It was great. Covered, so no rain, cool air blow through so very comfortable. It's like dinner on the veranda.... just a lot better food (at least with how I cook). My wife had the turkey, goat cheese and fig sandwich with box beans. I had the pastrami grilled cheese with onion rings. Done it with a piece of carrot cake that was bigger than my head! Great food, good service. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely come back.
This place is fabulous from top to bottom. It's beautiful, service was fantastic and the food was insanely delicious. One pomegranate margarita, chicken and waffles and a plate of Mexican hash browns later and I am one happy gal. Leanne was the sweetest server ever and I have absolutely no complaints. Also their famous carrot cake is 9 pounds and very delicious! I'm convinced you could get anything on the menu and be very happy with it.
