This is the second time in a row that my sandwich has been made incorrectly, and unfortunately, it’s also the second time I've encountered a defensive response from the staff when addressing the issue. You would think that spreading cream cheese on a bagel sandwich would be a basic skill, but it seems to be a recurring problem here. Additionally, the younger employees could benefit from some customer service training; being argumentative and defensive is certainly not the way to ensure customer satisfaction or encourage repeat visits. It’s really disappointing to watch the manager (tall, bald, beard) ignore customers, be on his phone texting, handling cash with gloves, putting his phone back into his pocket, then proceed to make orders *without* changing gloves??!! I worked in the service industry for years and I’m wildly grossed out that basic food safety protocols are not being followed or enforced. But what will corporate do except copy and paste a reply to this ? This location has just the angriest vibes here towards customers.
The problem with that place is the dining room looks the floor of a taxi cab.Like, maybe the cleaning crew went on strike. In '84.Bathroom is disgusting, garbages overflowing. Boxes of supplies in the dining room. It 's run down, and run over. But what the hell... The bagels are still good.Just don 't plan your wedding there and you 'll be ok.
I've been visiting this place for over 30 years, so I was quite taken aback by the reviews I found on Google. The establishment was fine—clean, well-stocked, and the staff was friendly. While it may not have the cozy coffee house vibe for lounging all day, everything else about it was truly excellent.

They don’t wear hair nets or hats. Waited 10-15 minutes for two plain bagels with cream cheese. I ask them NOT to toast it yet they still do, this has happened a couple times. The place also needs a renovation of some sort. The tables and carpet look old and dirty.
The Grand location offers very disappointing customer service! I've been to other Bruegger's locations where the staff were excellent, but the service here is the worst I've experienced. If possible, I suggest choosing a different location!
They take and fill all online orders first. Therefore leaving customers inside waiting ridiculously. I order a breakfast sandwich, waited 20mins then asked for a refund because I had to get to work and I had no MORE TIME TO WAIT!

Really?? A 40 minute wait to get a bagel sandwich?? I could have made begels at home faster. Ridiculous!!
