Brulerie Caumartin Cafe

We were only to bet for a few days and of course we loved. but except for a beautiful city, we found the options for restoration quite expensive but it's bet:) we also met a restaurant where the waiter was pretty rude and looked like to serve us but not with pleasure probably because we didn't portion of luxury clothes, didn't look like millionaires and didn't speak French. But the caumartin noisy was our last stop on the train station's way. We were hungry and found this little restaurant/bar. Even if our French were at the Bon-jour-merci level, the waitress was very nice. the noisy had (finally) also a menu in English and affordable prices. we finished our meal with a delicious dessert and a bottle of wine and we were ready to go. I recommend this restaurant because it is very comfortable with a very good atmosphere.

the tables at the front are tight against each other and even walking between them is difficult. It forces them to live inside. commands are taken quickly by very competent servers but a long wait ensued. the signature dish of the restaurant is the fries. It's on the neon sign outside. My mussels were very small. What was more worrying was that they were mostly broken. food technologists advise not to eat broken mussels. Usually, this dish comes with a basket to take the empty shells, but the table here is so small that there was no room for one. There wasn't even room for the covers. Staff will not return to the table, except by accident. I had to walk to the counter to pay the bill and even then I had to wait. too few staff trying to treat too many "beverages only", no quality anywhere. .

Snails were correct, but nothing special. My daughter ordered mussels as a main dish and I got the duck. both had good taste, except that her fries were cold and that my potato purée was cold in the centre, suggesting that she had been warmed and not prepared fresh. Don't come back!

We had the mussels and fries at will at almost $10, which is a very good price. the staff is friendly and the location is convenient near lafayette and shopping areas

here is my food and it's really good and the price is affordable, large portion, good quality, very friendly environment
