We ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese, along with a small Caesar salad (no anchovies) and a side of garlic bread. I had forgotten that they typically include bread with the order, but that was okay—it was still tasty. I had a glass of wine, my partner had a beer, and the kids enjoyed a Sprite and lemonade. The total was $77 before tip. Everything was served warm and delicious, and the food arrived quickly since we got there before 6 PM, when it wasn't too busy. This is a fantastic family-friendly restaurant. If you're looking for a high-end atmosphere, this isn't the place for you. The food portions are generous, the service is outstanding, and the food is excellent. I ordered the meatball appetizer, which came with two large meatballs, sauce, and bread, followed by the spaghetti with meat sauce for my main course. My wife had a Caesar salad without anchovies and the eggplant parmesan, and everything was outstanding! The salad was particularly fresh, and the bread was delicious. We also enjoyed the ducks. We absolutely love Bruno's! Located in Santa Monica, it's just a short walk away from fun activities after dinner, like the Santa Monica Pier or a relaxing drink. Be prepared—parking can be a hassle. The food is fantastic; my favorites are the lasagna and the pizza. Everything is fresh, and the red sauce they use is incredible. This time, we got takeout, and it was ready by the time we arrived, still warm when we got home. It's such a charming place, and we can’t wait to go back and enjoy another meal there. I tried this place for the first time at the recommendation of my friends and I adored everything. The staff were incredibly kind and funny, and they recommended the Spaghetti Carbona I ended up ordering and it was delicious. I cleaned my plate. We chose this place based on how great the food looks in the reviews. Umm, it's better than it looks! I actually showed the server the picture I wanted and got this super yummy mushroom lemony sauce chicken that was so good! I'll be honest and say I ate too much, but I wanted to eat even more. Best pizza EVER! Totally go! Coffee was excellent too!
My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time and it was a wonderful experience : The pastas came in huge portions and were delicious! Our server was also very warm and welcoming and attentive to our needs. I wish I remembered her name but she was really great. If we ever decide to eat out in Santa Monica, we'll definitely consider here again!
