Bucket Of Blood Saloon

I've been up to Virginia City several times, and this was my first at Bucket of Blood Saloon. I brought my friend up here for a visit, too! We enjoyed the old time y ambiance, the nice view, the history with all the pictures, the cozy bar stools that swivel, and the popcorn ?. Our bar tender was super nice we felt really welcome, and enjoyed learning about different types of whiskey (we tried Tullamore Dew an Irish Whiskey, and Basil Hayden, one that was original and one that was smokey).Ask about the Victorian pickle jars; they are sitting on a shelf behind the bar you'll learn something cool!Also, side note, we found out that my Great Uncle Ernie used to play music at Bucket of Blood back...

We stopped in for a beer and learned that their ****** Mary is the specialty of the house. Corrie was our bar tender. She made the drinks to our spiciness-liking. They were so delicious that we had a second round. The band was fantastic. I requested the song JACKSON. Free bowls of popcorn. Notice the antique jewel colored pickle jars on shelf above the liquor bottles. I highly recommend a visit to this saloon.

We have been here several times and kept coming back because of the great ****** Mary's they served. The one we got was watered down and did not even come to my standards of a thick ****** Mary. Was not impressed and unfortunately, will not go back. The drinks were 9.00 and not good !

Virginia City was great. I love old western towns. The bucket of Blood was a typical old west bar. The antique lights were fantastic, they have a frozen rum drink that was very tasty. If you're in Reno NV, forget the casinos and go to Virginia city. Reserva una mesa ahora

We stopped in for a drink. Hubby had a shot of whiskey with beer chaser. I don't normally drink but decided on a ****** Mary. It was delicious!! Live this cool old bar!!

Cool bar. Bartender was friendly and helped me land a ride back to Reno (FYI, Uber and Lyft don't get up that way unless you luck out).

Use to own land in Virginia City Highlands and this was the place I hung out at. All the people were great people
