We returned indoors, and once again the clerk offered me another car wash. I reiterated that I didn’t want a wash that would only worsen the situation. I explained that I needed a refund since I would have to get my car washed again, and a car wash should clean, not create more issues. I suggested they check the car wash log since it felt like they were implying I was lying about my experience. The clerk informed me that the log only showed one vehicle going through at 5:00 AM, which seemed questionable. They then mentioned they would check the security footage. If you're heading north to Lake Forest, this is your last chance to refuel for a while. The prices are competitive, the access is easy, and the pumps are well-spaced, so congestion is seldom an issue. Just a heads-up: if you need air for your tires, it now costs $1.50. We even helped out a guy the other day who needed an extra quarter for it. And there you have it—my official gas station review!

Just 20 minutes ago, I passed by a Buc-ee's station in Vernon Hills where gas was priced at $2.13 a gallon. Meanwhile, the same gas station in Highland Park was charging $2.59 a gallon for the identical gas. It's the same state, the same county, and the same company, yet Buc-ee's is overcharging everyone who stops there by 20%! It's really frustrating; they are the worst!

My boyfriend and I were returning home from Florida and were really hungry! He decided to stop at Bucky's, and you can't miss it with their gigantic sign! The gas station is enormous, almost like a Walmart! There are more than enough gas pumps, and inside you'll find delis, clothing, and so much more! You definitely won't be disappointed!
