Absolute no go. Super unfriendly staff. After our last visit last year, which was great all around, we were happy to stop there again today. However, this time we were greeted in the most unpleasant way. We were traveling with the camper and wanted to walk a few meters further to a small green area with our dog after the long drive. Two employees immediately shouted at us that the parking lot was only for guests. Even after we explained that we plan to eat there in a few minutes, we continued to be treated very rudely. After this incident, we understandably didn't want to leave our money there anymore (we love good food we are happy to give a good tip, at least 10% since we ourselves are/wer...

After a strenuous hike by 34 young at heart men halfway around Lake Ägeri, we stopped at the Buechwäldli restaurant and it was an excellent decision! The warm and inviting guest room offered just the right atmosphere to relax after the snowy tour. The menu was excellent: the fish crispies were an absolute delight. Everything went smoothly from reception to service and the serving staff impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. A big thank you to the entire team! A beautiful and homely furnished restaurant with a first-class Gilde kitchen. The venison schnitzel was beautifully cooked and the side dishes were first class. I can't eat dairy products, so eating game outside is rather difficult for me. At Buechwäldli I had the entire menu cooked without dairy products and it simply tasted “obenuse”. Great food! Hunting season now so I had red deer dish, which was excellent! The chef could accommodate my food allergies and made me feel very included. I have an allergy to wheat and lactose intolerance. The chef could make my order perfectly safe for me to eat without removing any element of the flavor experience from the dish. I highly recommend! Schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang im (Winter )Garten. Alle Fischgerichte waren ausgezeichnet, ebenso die Beilagen alles frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. When the host and chef comes to the table and presents a pike freshly caught in Lake Ägeri, it says everything about the quality standards of the kitchen.
