During our week’s stay in the region we visited several restaurants for evening dinner. “Bulgaria/Bei Nico” was one of them. Never been to a Bulgarian restaurant before so we were curious as how the menu would be different than other Balkan restaurants we did visit...in the past. What followed was a nice surprise. For a Tuesday evening there were quite a few people inside as we entered around half past seven. A friendly waiter took us to a free table, handed over the menu and served both of us a 2cl glass of ouzo. We both ordered a “Schketo” (tomato-lamb soup) as starter. There are Bulgarian restaurants that are closer to Turkish cuisine and/or that offer more vegetarian dishes. This one is closer to Greek cuisine, with a focus on meat dishes. However, there are still several vegetarian options. We have been there... several times and have never been disappointed. Delicious meal. Very good value for money!
Our German hosts took us here, and I can see why it's one of their favorite restaurants. The sampler platter was excellent, as was the Geschnetseltes. The price is right and the service is friendly. Worth a try if you're in the area.

It's the greatest place I've ever been, becouse of very friendly personal and delicious meals. The attitude towards customers is at the top! I highly recommend Bulgaria to everyone.
Früher eine top Adresse, Heute leider nur noch unter Durchschnitt. Speisen lieblos angerichtet, Zu fast allem tk kaisergemüse... Fleisch trocken.
Delicious, Bulgarian cuisine with large portions. The dips to the appetizer are overwhelming. Price-quality ratio fits.
Food is excellent, service is also perfect , I recommend this restaurant if you are in this small town!
