Where else but here for your first post lockdown meal! This was the first time we'd visited this pub. We found the staff very welcoming and showed us to our table. The layout is fully covid compliant, and stubbly clean. Mains included a roast, burgers and a selection of children's meals. The burgers are perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Whilst the turkey roast was absolutely superb, a delicious dish. The outside play area is just out of this world the kids loved it. By far the best one we've ever seen. Make sure you get yourself booked in for a wonderful experience. As ever great value for money, the highest standards for food and service. A real gem in the crown for Burscough.

We came here for some dinner on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't busy and it was lovely inside as we've never been before. Staff where very welcoming and lovely. Gave us their opinions on the food and which is nice, I love that they have the option for people who don't want a big meal. Like fries with bbq pulled pork on top which was nice!! My boyfriend got the mixed grill and loved it. We also treated ourselves to deserts, chocolate brownie cake with ice-cream which was very very nice!! Would love to bring our two children next time, as they have a play area outside for summer times and benches

fantastic place to eat and have a pint came for a Sunday roast the staff are so friendly nothing is too much for them even demanding children. the lamb was boiled to perfection, soft and fluffy in it all only melted in its mouth. the portions are also very generous. there is a well-equipped seating area in the free with a playground for children and mini football field. all round large space for the family would highly recommend this place if they go in the opposite or through. very cozy with modern decor, but not above the tip gives this place a cozy feeling.

last night for the first time with my colleagues to leave. large pub on the outskirts of burscough with friendly and professional staff, excellent eating (I had the sampi for head and the biscoff sunflower for dessert and a beautiful beer garden : also they get a pager that goes off when their meal is ready. highly recommended!

for the first time the bull and the dog visited a nice lunch with a friend. the pub has a beautiful social atmosphere. the device is cozy. when sitting, the personal was really nice and responsive. on the menu there is a good selection of food. the food we order was really good. I had cooked a rag steak

The pub is nice but the food could have been hotter. The main meal was just warm, as if it was done ready to come out and was waiting a while. I would return and try again. Stopped of at the last minute and it was worth it. It was very busy but staff found us a table. As one of our party was in a wheelchair staff took our order at the table which was very nice instead of going to the bar. Food was excellent, piping hot and very enjoyable. We will return

Excellent greeting from friendly manager. Disappointed no Guinness sold out but blacksheep alternative superb. Food delivered by marvellous waitress told she is part of the furniture at place. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely would and have recommend

this morning tee. welcome. very friendly staff. the supplements to eat cooking was excellent my man had a mixed grill (smoking) he ate the go. steak and ale cake for me delicious. recommend them when they drive past in them will not be disappointed. we'll be back soon.

I called to the pub today to play only pool. I found the staff very friendly, even thought we wouldn't spend much money. I had a look.
