We ordered 2 Big King XXLs which were fairly slow to arrive.... and fries, which were freshly cooked... The base of the buns on the Big Kings was soggy and unappetising... and this made it impossible to pick up to eat without making a horrible...mess. The burgers were dry and rubbery as they had soaked into the bun... We were unable to complain as it was time for our Eurotunnel... Sadly there is little choice of food at Coquelles so they don’t need to try hard...
Fancied a Kid Fish burger and small chips, after an earlier lunch, before heading back to the UK. This place always has lengthy queues and the restaurant shaping and close proximity to the front doors probably doesn’t help. I accept that at a transport hub, prices...are more expensive, so no problem. My food and a colleague’s were fine queues were long. Neither of us ate in, but in our respective vehicles.
Although the restaurant does get busy at the same time during the day they still wont employ enough people to keep the restaurant ticking over for example one person serving and queues out the door once a few more people come to serve the queues...died down within a few minutes the food was typical BK standard and the whole restaurant was ok but nothing special
How they justify nearly charging double when the exchange rate is 1 1.1 is beyond me!!! Scandalous!!! Fast food restaurants at service stations should be tightly regulated to control this outrageous attempt at conning customers. Food was okay and staff were pleasant and service was...quick. Waited in a queue to place the order for about 25 minutes! They did not have enough staff to help people. But the worse part is the food. Very different from the rest of Burger King burgers, very tasteless a dry. We simply could not...eat it no matter how hungry we were. Thrown to the bin.
had to eat here as there was not much choice in the terminal. I know where we travel through the euro tunnel in France, but with the amount of English and other nationalities, they would expect the menu in French and English.
lunch here with two colleagues before they were back to the U.K place was clean and fortunately it was not busy. cheese lover raclette, triple cheese and big fish burger were in order. all chips were good.
