Fantastic little spot to get a good meal at a decent price. The menu boasts lots of comfort food and a mini menu with happy hour drinks and snacks. We had the fondue starter, tomato soup, carrot soup, Mac n cheese, and garden salad all were outstanding! The cocktail list was varied but a bit pricey although they do have a section with cheaper drinks. Atmosphere was cosy with 70s soft rock playing. Our server was super nice and helpful when we had leftovers to take home. Would definitely visit here again if we’re ever in Vancouver.
I have frequented this Burgoo for decades but a recent visit made me want to come back again. I so enjoyed the Tom Kha Gai soup — which looks unassuming until you dive your spoon in for all the goodness hidden below. Their Fun and Frugal menu is such a great idea right now — everything is $5
Extremely small portions for the price you are paying. And the taste does not match the price either! What a disappointment. Had the kale ceaser, beef bourignon, and chicken parm sandwich. all tasted mediocre, and the sandwich was especially bad. will never go back—what a waste of money!
Yummy cheese sandwich and soup combo. The chicken parm sandwich was okay, small portion. When we walked in, a lot of the tables were dirty and left unclean until someone new walked in and wanted to sit. Food was waiting a while on the counter after it was made. Service was

Managed to locate a place nearby for dinner. Was quite a nice rusty restaurant with some special priced meals and drinks. Ordered the stew beef and lager beer for dinner. Beef was really great with rich flavour beef chunk. Hope to come again next time.
The menu change is not working! They dropped a few major keep ‘‘em coming back sandwiches and replaced them with lack lustre choices. For the price they’ve got to great…and comparatively they’re not :
I didn't realize that southern food from the states was a thing in Vancouver, but apparently it is! My coworker and I came to Burgoo for a quick lunch
My friend had the jumbolaya, very good, my beef Bourgogne was very tasty but the beef strips were a bit chewy.
