Burrito Sensei - Reserva de mesa

I love this place because it's the first time I had a burrito with sashimi. I will say a lot has changed since the pandemic and the service was lackluster this time. The first time I went in 2016 we ate inside, had some drinks. Ottawa can be a bit of a letdown food scene wise but for me this was a shiny spot. This time, in Sept 2022, I stopped in to go the tuna burrito, asked for a side of pickled ginger and soy sauce. It's a great concept, a bit on the pricier side but it's sashimi so I get it. It's a fun place to stop by, I hope they pick up more business.

Went to this restaurant on our recent visit to Ottawa as other restaurants on our list were closed by the time we got back to the hotel. I'm so glad we ended up here. I ordered the Japanese vegetarian curry and it is by far one of the best vegetarian meals I've had at a Japanese restaurant (vegetable sushi rolls/tempura are other typical vegetarian options but not much different from one place to other). This was very filling, a little spicy and tasted great! Too bad I did not get a chance to revisit but will most definitely be back next time I'm in town.

I order from here regularly and the food is always great regardless of whether you eat in (which you should…it’s lovely! or take out. One time my takeout order got messed up on a particularly busy night and the manager refunded my entire meal the next day (even though I wasn’t expecting much to happen .The staff, service, and menu is always amazing and it really is a gem in this city.

I called this place on Feb 7th to book a table for Valentine's day dinner with my husband. When I arrived, they looked my name up in their note book and said they didn't have my name scrawled down. Well that totally killed the special night!!! I even showed them my call log and still no effort to seat us properly. It's time for proper reservation system. Reserva una mesa ahora

Adorable little hangout spot near parliament. Been ordering and going here since the last 3 years. Best salmon poke bowl in Ottawa, get it with their marinated egg and mango salsa. It's to die for. I love their sweet potato croquettes and in house menu too! Definitely on the top 10 for me

(4/5 stars) Overall.(3.8/5 stars) For the burritos because it was messy to eat and it was all over my hand. The representation was really pretty and makes a flower with more than one burritos.(4.2/5) But the skewers were really good.

Good, fresh and decent portions with good service and relaxing ambiance.Will come back.Draft beer was a bit expensive (9$ for a glass, not a full pint size) but it’s ok for Asahi!

One of my favorite poke bowl place in Ottawa, really tasty, you also have a lot of options, staff is very friendly.
