We are locals and I had not yet visited Bushfire on the Cairns Esplanade as I am not a big meat eater (and they are known for their meat!).But I was pleasantly suprised with the food they offer, including the excellent sides they leave on your table. The pork was literally the very best I have ever had - cooked to absolute perfection and crispy outside.Staff were super friendly and very attentive with bringing the food when your block is on green. We did try the cinnamon pineapple which would be lovely for anyone who likes cooked pineapple (yes, I'm one of the people who do not), but tried it anyways as it felt like a must!We will definitely be returning!
Bushfire offers an extended list of meat - including kangaroo - cooked in a variety of ways. Diners may sample a range of meat and then settle on a favorite and more will be brought. We were less adventurous and stuck to steak - which was very good. There was also a useful wine list to go with the meat choices. The entry is a bit confusing - you think you may be going next door, but it's actually Bushfire. We were lucky enough to be seated at the windows on Esplanade, and passers-by made signs to us asking our opinion - we gave Bushfire an unreserved thumbs-up.
Not too many restaurants can bring a whole family together in a wonderful conversation about their food! My teens even put their phones away to enjoy and converse about Bushfires delicious meats! I love the experience, it's a different way of service that creates an awesome atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Fast service, maybe a little bit too fast with the skewers of meat but you can control that. I would recommend this to anyone who loves food and wants to experience something a little different.
Went with hight expectations, heard about it being great, so we gave it a go, there were 4 of us, 2 of us had the meat deal on the skewers and 2 of us ordered from the menu meals salmon was not great (menu) and as for the meat deal they came around twice served very little pieces then disappeared we kept our traffic light on for return and still no one to be seen. Got tired of the whole experience and we went home

Nous avons testé ce restaurant le soir de notre arrivée à Cairns. Le service était correct et chaleureux et il n'y avait pas trop de monde. Au niveau du repas, nous avons testé les brochettes de viandes diverses, c'était vraiment très bon et la viande était bien cuite, ça fondait dans la bouche ! A tester si vous êtes amateur de barbecue !
the bushfire flame and grill is themed around brazilian food ,you can have all you can eat buffett situated on the esplanade in the pacific hotel have a great night out with friends or just an intimate outing your choice ,you won't be disappointed ,but make sure you book if you want to go on the weekend
I guess a theme restaurant in a way and what they do they do very wellThe Kangaroo was excellent and the Chicken was absolutely outstandingIts a well run operation , they have an early bird special which was $42 if you leave by 7pm The staff are very well trained
Dined at Bushfire a few months ago but only just got around to leaving a review. Great waitstaff, and delicious meats! Cooked to perfection, and plenty of it. Would recommend for a group as theres a real atmosphere and experience here!

Had a great dinner with friends at Bushfire!! Big shout out to our waiter Alby Diaz for is exceltional customer service and friendly attitude. We will definitely be back.
