We tried The Busy Teapot because of the reviews. We were not disappointed. The breakfast was excellent such a wide choice of food with many combinations of what you could have. The food was cooked to perfection well done chef. The homemade pies looked delicious plenty of filling with perfect pastry. If your choice is an afternoon coffee and cake then the cakes also looked amazing. The service was outstanding greeted with a warn welcome good service and it was so pleasing to see someone that enjoyed providing the excellent service. Infact we went back the next day and enjoyed our food just as much. If you are ever travelling or staying in Penrath the Busy Tea pot is a must
Unbelievably, rationally totally litty awesome. This place was so stoked and was real radical. Food was a stupendous confectionary and dissolved beautifully in my pancreas. Staff were very pleasant and it was good to see a wide age range of members working there as it’s clear to see the owner values diversity at the core in f this fabulous restaurant .Would definitely come again and have no doubts that this place will live up to its reputation as the finest delicious food consuming facility in all of penarth.
I highly recommend visiting my local Top Draw Cafe, run by fantastic individuals who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. They go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. The owners have put in a tremendous amount of effort to grow their business, and their dedication is truly admirable. The food is all homemade with the best quality ingredients, and it is great value for the price. I cannot recommend this place enough for a visit.
We were visiting Penarth on a family vacation from Toronto, Canada. The two owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You could tell it was a local favourite and all the customers were friendly as well. Nice and clean! High chairs available for babies/toddlers. Service was fast but felt homemade. Great local spot for your visit to Penarth! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!

This coffee shop has a traditional feel and serves delicious family-style dishes. They cater to the local crowd who appreciate a great coffee shop. Unlike many cafes that try to be upscale with fancy decorations, this coffee shop is humble, reasonably priced, and inviting.
Still the same friendly welcome from the twins and excellent cooking...the Full Monty breakfast and liver and bacon dishes were much enjoyed and the home made corn beef and steak and onion pies looked so good we took some home and weren't disappointed! Well done lads!
I was in the area and decided to stop by for breakfast after hearing all the positive reviews, and I'm glad I did! The food came out hot and quickly, and the service was excellent.
Excellent home cooked food just like Mother used to make. Best breakfast. Lovely salad and jacket potatoes, very tasty curries, just wish the place was bigger

A hidden gem in Penarth, just off the high street and tucked away. Lovely staff, fabulous food at reasonable prices. Will definitely go back
