Review: I chose this bakery because I wanted to purchase from a shop that had a clear and organized website. I was drawn by their variety in birthday cakes. Wow, I never had a dessert before that was just the right amount of sweet. Even the icing wasn’t overpowering in sweetness. If you don’t like dry cake this place is for you, it has a good amount of moisture. If you do decide on this cake and have OCD be mindful the top layer of chocolate is hard so it is noticeable when candles and toppers pierce through, but I didn’t mind. I had a brief email exchange with them regarding my preferences, and I shared the invitation for design inspiration. They crafted a stunning cake that was genuinely a masterpiece. More importantly, it tasted amazing! Everyone remarked on how delicious it was, matching its beautiful appearance. I'm thrilled to have some leftovers in my fridge! We requested a custom cake from Buttermilk Bakeshop for my brother and his wife's baby shower. My sister-in-law loves chocolate, and this chocolate mousse cake really knocked it out of the park. The shower's theme was space/cosmic, and Katy, the baker and cake designer, nailed it with the blue cosmic design that fit perfectly with the event. The cake got compliments for both its look and taste all night. Everyone loved it, and it was a very reasonable price, too!

We've ordered all of our children's birthday cakes from Buttermilk, and they have been incredible! The cakes are not only delicious but also beautiful works of art. This year, my newly 5-year-old daughter drew a picture of her ideal cake, and they absolutely nailed it! We can't wait to place our next order. I'm also including some pictures of the other cakes we've received from there!
Love this place and pick up a small selection of baked goods from here about once a week! The chocolate cake in a jar is my absolute favorite. I also love getting the cake of the day slice, the cookies, and the bars. Had the raspberry pop-tart recently (pictured) and it was amazing! Have never had a bad experience in anyway here.
We received everything! The cupcakes and cookies were fantastic. Unfortunately, the Classic Birthday cake (6") got damaged—likely during delivery or because other items were packed on top of it. We were a bit disappointed since we really wanted to take photos with it, haha.
Great cakes, lovely staff. I have done multiple birthday cakes in the last couple of years. The team at the bakeshop communicates well and efficiently via email (cake design, final view, payment). Everything is ready on time.

We requested a custom cake for our daughter's first birthday and provided a picture of what we had in mind. They did an incredible job! The cake was a rainbow inside, which was just perfect for our sun-themed celebration.
The experience was disappointing. The restaurant appears outdated, and the food was not enjoyable.
