Excellent coffee. The pastries, which come from various vendors and whose selection varies slightly week to week, are indeed delicious. If at all possible, take Your time here to really appreciate their coffee and menu. We bought a bag of their whole beans and the results were impressive. Their beans are on par with other high end coffees such as Toby's Estate, Irving Farm and Columbe. If they had more outdoor sitting options, I would give them 6 stars.
Visiting the area from out of town. Decided to stop by this lovely coffee shop for hot chocolate 4/25/19 around 9:45am. Decided to get me a delicious hummingbird cake too. The lady at the front counter who processed my payment and order was beyond lovely, welcoming, and world class. The hot chocolate and hummingbird cake were delicious! This place is definitely recommended. Looks small from the outside but there is a second floor seating area.
A friend invited me to this charming and delicious café. We loved the unique tea, which was refreshing and flavorful. I tried the vegan chocolate muffin and it was amazing. My friend had the chocolate croissant and also loved it. I ended up buying a box of tea and an extra muffin to take home. I will definitely be returning. The customer service was fantastic and the seating area was cool and comfortable.
I enjoyed a chai latte with almond milk, a delicious garden hummus sandwich, and a vegan chocolate cupcake at this restaurant. This lovely café in Riverdale offers excellent coffee and is a perfect spot for reading, doing research work, or engaging in conversations. In addition to a variety of beverages, they also sell books like "The Coffee House Resistance" and other accessories such as t-shirts and mugs.
Asked for a Pour Over coffee which clearly says on the menu... The guy behind the counter told me with a straight face (after I pointed it out on the menu) that they don't make pour over... Very unprofessional staff here, great coffee though.
Best coffee shop in the Bronx. Always have fresh pastries and great coffee. Update: They use 100% compostable materials in their cups, you’re not only saving the environment when drinking coffee here you also support small local businesses.
