The carnitas were heavenly, a perfect textural combo of crunchy, tender, and juicy, and not overly salty. The tortilla soup was very simple and authentic: a delicious broth with a bit of cheese (that gradually dissolves through the broth) and some fresh avocado and tortilla. The food tastes homemade, like grandma made it. Even the margaritas are lovely: not too sweet with a nice kick. We will be back and only sorry we never tried it before. Service is fine (they do a brisk carry out business that has to travel through the dining room) and decor/atmosphere is comfortable and not fancy. Prices are surprisingly modest.
Unfortunately, it’s was a cold night the place was empty. The service, food and drinks were great. Reasonably priced. I would definitely go back. It would be even nicer if they had some music. “Very bland food” and that came white elderly mother. My food was bland and dry like it was canned cat food . Dirty plate.
