this restaurant is definitiw away from the beaten path. the first attempt that we were not far enough on the road. the second attempt was successful. prepare for the 2 lanes to turn into a 3/4 lane, and this is where they find the booque...au creux du feu. we wanted to try something else, so we both had the croute au fromage avec jambon, or brot with ham and cheese. my man had added an egg to his. that's not a ham and cheese sandwich. it is brot immersed in white wine and then placed in a dish with ham top. the whole thing is crushed and boiled with cheese until the fee is golden and gooey. we also have a dried beef and a poisoning plate. there was no hurry and the meal was fantastic.

This restaurant is definitely off the beaten path. The first try we didn't go far enough on the road. The second try was successful. Prepare for the lane road to turn into a lane road and that's where you will find the Buvette...au Creux du Feu. We wanted to try something different so we both had the Croute au Fromage avec jambon, or bread with ham and cheese. My husband had an egg added to his. This is not a ham and cheese sandwich. It is bread soaked in white wine then placed in a dish with ham on top. The whole thing is smothered with cheese and broiled until the cheesy is golden and gooey. We also a a dried beef and venison platter. There was no rush and the meal was fantastic. Reserva una mesa ahora

After a morning spent at the Gruyere cheese factory we wanted an authentic fondue not the mass touristy place that the factory was offering. A quick TripAdvisor search found this little place high on a hill filled with locals... and very authentic. The...venue consists of a chalet divided into a main area with a roaring open fire, a separate room and a small upstairs area. It seems to be family run, and towards the end of our meal all the staff started having their own lunch at the table next to us. The fondue itself was delicious but be warned, they only take cash!

We've been going there regularly for years. really great in all: the place, the access, the park squares, the decoration, the great wood fire, the map, the dishes, the local specialties, the service. a typical and high quality buvette. simple toilets outside. a big flat however: the behavior of the boss. it would be so nice to receive a smile on his part, to hear a nice welcome word, to tighten a hand kindly tense ... nothing of all this, really bad.
