Highly recommended hidden restaurant on the Cami Cabanes, with the only clue that there is a restaurant there being a tiny blackboard, which most passers by will not notice, since their attention is drawn to the metal whale and giant ant in the foreground. The owners really need to focus on their marketing, or growth and consequent success will be limited to word of mouth and TripAdvisor reviews. However, persevere and you will have a high quality Spanish meal cooked by talented chefs. We, as a foursome, ordered six tapas starters, and most were well worthy of a repeat order at our next visit. I wouldn’t re-order either the lonely anchovy fillets or the single and tiny scallop, but the corn fritters with a delicious tuna topping were particularly outstanding. For mains, the steak, beef cheeks and ca aleix salad were all terrific. We were too full to try the desserts. Highly recommended.

Once you’ve circumnavigated the huge metal whale out front you happen upon a discrete restaurant. There are few signs of life at first sight. We were then given a warm welcome and assured that lunch was, indeed, being served. The menu is not busy they clearly know what they’re good at. A few options for younger customers would be welcome our 12 year old was struggling. The food was of a very high standard from the focaccia starters, the paella valenciana through to a tangy warm goat’s cheese salad and glorious home made desserts served in kilner jars. Am pleased to say the beer on tap wasn’t a standard lager either far stronger and more enjoyable. This place is rich in promise and will probably be worth full marks by the next time we visit.

As a family of four, we had a really nice lunch time meal outside. Nice salads and fine food a bit of a struggle for some of the family with plainer tastes. Really great atmosphere and a great place to walk around afterwards lots of sculptures etc. Lovely hour or two spent here

On average the food was good, not excellent. The rice (Meloso Ca Aleix) was quite good. However, the squid was hard and dry, small and terribly expensive.
