Great example of location, location, location. Right on Shem Creek with both outdoor and indoor dining. Probably not fair, anyway, but the food didn 't match the view. We had two chef 's specialties after a dozen raw oysters. They were out of anything nearby, so they substituted Canadian on the half shell. Small to medium, at best. The Atlantic Black Grouper itself was good, but at $50 market price, the accompaniment should have more than two small asparagus slightly overcooked. Apparently the reason they were hidden under the grouper. Pasta Gumbolaya was really quite good (Sautéed chicken, shrimp, andouille sausage, tomatoes, okra, Cajun cream tomato sauce- served over linguine, $32). Oh, a...

Waters Edge was the first restaurant my husband and I went to when we were house hunting here. The ambience on Shem Creek helped us decide to relocate from Tennessee. At that time WE had the best Happy Hour, great food and service. We recently took an out of town guest there for dinner. The waiter was bordering on rude and a little arrogant. The food was a huge disappointment. Many of our favorites were gone from the menu. My husband's flounder was overcooked. My aunt's grouper was undercooked. My Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. It's sad to see this once very cool and good restaurant added to the list of places we won't visit again.
I recently visited one of the nicest and most vibrant restaurants I have ever been to. The restaurant had a beautiful view of the water, and the ambiance was amazing. I ordered the surf and turf, which turned out to be one of the best meals I have ever had. The steak and lobster were cooked perfectly and had great seasoning. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting from out of town, or for a romantic date night. I also ordered an old-fashioned drink, which I would rate 7 out of 10.
The worst food and very little given on your plate! Price was totally overboard, 4 adults, 3 children. Only 3 adults had 1 cocktail, no appetizers. Bill was over $300.00 and service was needing help. Used to be a favorite local spot, new owners have ruined any kind of nice experience. I did not post about this experience that I actually had in mid January 2024. Reserva una mesa ahora
The restaurant has a comfortable feel and it faces the water. The water is a beautiful view. The waitress was great and knowledgeable of the menu. The pork dish featured tender and flavorful pork, paired harmoniously with creamy mashed potatoes and vibrant broccolini. The combination provided a satisfying balance of savory and wholesome elements
The environment is nice. The restaurant sits right next to the water. We sat outside. Menu is a little up there but it was a little upscale compared to the other restaurants by the water. Food was pretty good. Service was good. Server was attentive and nice. Nothing bad to say about this place. They do validate parking.
The food was decent, a bit pricey it's not bad considering the location and the view was all pretty nice and there was no wait. We initially had to pick this place because we had our pup with us. The waitresses were super nice to our dog and for that, I have really good memories and nice things to say about this place.
We love this spot!! The food had dramatically improved here! Had Ana amazing chicken sandwich, and shrimp and grits and their wedge dressing was phenomenally, even the kids chicken tenders were top notch! An unappreciated spot that deserves more attention!! Reserva una mesa ahora
In town for a conference and a local recommended this place. I ate the smoked salmon pasta and it was incredible. Service was fine. There's a great view of the creek, especially if you get a table next to the windows.
The barbecue salmon dinner was okay. Boyfriend got the broiled seafood platter and got food poisoning : The cocktails were decent and service was okay. The best part of this restaurant is the view.

"I had a wonderful Caesar salad at this restaurant. They also had Impossible meat, which was delicious. The only drawback was that it had a limited menu for ordering at the counter, rather than having a server."
