Located in the charming town of Warkworth, this store is a paradise for chocolate lovers. I stumbled upon this gem during my vacation in the area last year. After driving to Northumbria, I made a beeline for Cabosse! The owner greeted me warmly, exuding hospitality and kindness. The shop offers a variety of handmade chocolates and gifts for any occasion. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. From the delicious chocolate and cake offerings to the warm and welcoming owners, our experience in Warkworth was a true delight. We purchased a variety of treats during our stay and returned on our way home from camping. Each item was expertly crafted and beautifully presented. The owner clearly possesses great talent and also exudes a friendly and inviting demeanor. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.
This small shop is adorable with a very friendly lady running it. A friend recommended I try their hot chocolate, claiming it was the best in the world. I can confirm that it is indeed true! The first sip is very sweet, followed by a burst of intense chocolate flavor. Although the cups may seem small, the richness makes them just right. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in town or visiting the castle.
The hot chocolate at this restaurant is simply amazing, the richest and most flavorful hot chocolate I have ever had. I also tried a chocolate almond croissant and a chocolate galaxy tart, both of which were delicious. If you are a chocolate lover, you will absolutely love Cabosse.
