Cactus Flower Cafe in East Hill! The owner took our to go order on the phone; she opened this place after moving from California to try to help with the?we?ll say lacking?availability of cultural food in Pensacola. She delivered! The chicken enchiladas (pictured first were hands down the best enchiladas I?ve ever had. Order them. The SoCal burrito (pictured second was fantastic as well as enormous, the picture doesn?t show a good angle but it was about as big as a plate and loaded with steak and potatoes. The refried beans were fresh and not greasy and the lime rice was like a premium version of what you?d get at Chipotle. Not pictured was the guac which was the best I?ve found in Pensacola....

It's been years since I was here last gedimt. As wonderful as I remember. The menu was fascinating with many interesting options. I tried this instance, Southern California Burrito. Steak medium rare and very sharp. I also had Spanish rice and crushed beans. Everything was excellent although it could have been spicier. I also had the top shelf margarita, but that was okay. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Parking was easy. I wanted to eat outside because it was October and the weather was pleasant in the evening. Overall, it is a wonderful culinary experience. I definitely want to come back.

You know that the feeling of pure unchallenged anger when you come home with your pickup order and realize that somehow only 50% of what you have ordered has made it into the bag, and you just want to say that it is not difficult in the kitchen to read a ticket and put the food in the bag. I didn't check the bag before I left. Eat well, Bar guy is super nice.

I have to give Cactus Flower five stars for their outstanding service! The place was full but our server was attentive and super friendly. The food was excellent; the salsa and chips were some of the best I?ve had anywhere. I also like that they have art from local artists displayed on the walls. Sing me a song from Sangria. If you are looking for a fabulous lunch place with good daily drinks, don't see. Mango shrimp salad and appetizers are wonderful. Let me give a warning that is not your typical Mexican farewell. This is elevated western coast style Mexican cuisine served with flare. You'll love it!

We were so satisfied with our experience at the Cactus Flower Cafe! Friendly staff and excellent service! I have the fish tacos with soft corn tortillas and were as happy as they tasted! We were also pleasantly surprised that the black beans were incredibly well seasoned!

To start, we were served Tostito chips and store bought salsa They seem to mix half fresh ingredients with canned food. My black beans were topped with Reserva una mesa ahora

Love the stuffed peppers, fresh guac, mango shrimp, soft corn tacos, & cheese dip. Nice atmosphere. Maybe one day they will get some better chips. Lol

Well, this was a surprise As a Texican never in a gazillion years would I have gone to a Mexican/Southwestern/Cali Mex etcrestaurant in Florida.
