Had brekkie at its sibling in Moorooka and left with very good impression, therefore I don't mind to explore this South Brisbane outlet. I love the ample parking facility there and also huge area of dining area. As usual, there are sufficient number of staff looking after every diners, which is deserved thumb up. Ordered my Di Bella flat white and I/2 serve of scramble egg with smoke salmon and toast (I love this café because I can order 1/2 serving which is just perfect for my appetite in the morning). They seem to focus on quantity rather than quality which is such shame. They good a good range of drinks which is good. Just not happy with the food, it seems to be a whole bunch of sides on the plate for breakfasts. Convenient to grab a coffee. Food is very much becoming (and has been for a while) an art and I'd far rather 2 rashers of well cooked and quality bacon rather than 4 rashers if very fatty undercooked bacon. Service is always good here though. There are definitely better, gourmet and tasty cafes around. Good atmosphere and good staff hence the extra .5
Stones corner cafe 63. Cute outdoor tables and quick service.. but.. Ordered a medium rump. It tasted like leather, the meat was such low quality I could have bought a nicer steak at Woolworths. The chips were also cheap and nasty, both me and my partner said they looked like the frozen ones from supermarket. We eat out at local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants every other day and this was not the standards of a cafe. Sorry but this must be the worst food I've ever ordered.
