I have really mixed reviews about this place. They do let you choose from two menus, the Bar Veranda and their menu. The first night I went here I got their cheeseburger from the bar menu. It was actually pretty good (juicy and cooked perfectly) and the fries were good too. It was quite big and I couldn't finish it. A couple night later I came in and the wait was really long due to there being a couple of events going on. I went with the crab cakes for $20 and they were not worth that at all. Very small and not really flavorful. I ordered a Brooklyn Roni which had tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, and pepperoni on it. It was just weird and I ended up taking most of the ricotta off. Came here expecting an upscale restaurant but was greeted with more of a diner feel. The furniture was old and worn. The menu however was for a more upscale restaurant with upscale pricing. Our server was nice but not very friendly. She didn't seem to enjoy her job or want to be there serving us, but again she was nice. I got the wings, my wife got the scallops, and my daughter the flatbread. The wings were average nothing to write home about and the flatbread tasted like undercooked dough with canned tomato sauce and cheese on it. Hotel food, on a whole, is usually mid grade pub food at a 5-star price. I was forced to eat at the hotel due to a time constraint. They sat me at a table with a spectacular view which, alone, was worth eating there. The waiter was very attentive and hospitable. So far, so good....then the food came. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries figuring ketchup would cover a host of sins. I have never er been happier to be proven completely wrong. It is one of the top 5 burgers I have ever eaten! No gimics, no exotic toppings...just a well seasoned and expertly cooked patty smothered in cheese and topped with bacon.....no ketchup neccessary. What an unexpected and lovely surprise. The lunch menu offered is the same as what you find at the bar, so there’s nothing particularly unique about it. However, we did enjoy the bar food by the pool, and everything we tried was quite tasty. We also went for dinner one night, and it was outstanding. My husband was a bit disappointed by the limited dinner menu, but I didn’t mind. The kids' menu had a nice variety, and everything we ordered was delicious. While the overall menu may be small, the quality of the food is definitely impressive. We didn’t sample the breakfast because we’d heard many negative reviews about it, but since I haven’t tried it myself, I can’t really comment on it.

Went here V-Day, 2024. Wow, from beginning to end, George took care of us in a wonderful way. We had a cocktail then wine. For the appetizer I had (2 giant) bacon wrapped shrimp. It 's no exaggeration to say the perfectly cooked shrimp were huge. . For the entree we both had surf turf. The filet was great and I haven 't had such a large tender lobster! Truly the best dinner I 've had in ages and thank you, George! for taking such great care with your charm and terrific service!
La Toya and Tacia are the reason we 've repeatedly come back to Cafè Amalfi. We enjoyed following them both around the properties to their shift bar (embassy suites Coastal and Wet Whistle). Their personalities are vivacious and they make you feel welcome and like you 're home on a beautiful vacation. We look forward to coming back to Myrtle to see them on another vacation. If we lived here we would see them even week
While staying at the hotel, we ordered two flatbread pizzas to enjoy in our room. We didn’t expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The flatbread pizzas were absolutely delicious! They were large, flavorful, and of great quality. We highly recommend them!
My family chose this restaurant since it was located in our hotel. We had dinner there on the night we arrived. While the service was good, the food was disappointing. We also decided to try the breakfast buffet, but it turned out to be overpriced for a rather average meal.

What a fabulous place to grab a delicious dinner. Beach views galore! The waitstaff are extremely friendly!
