Cafe Baci - Reservar una mesa

Was recommended Cafe Baci by enough friends and co-workers to give it a go. I don’t normally make a special trip out for Italian food since there is an abundance of options in Nassau County but this was a nice treat. Starting out the location in the outside doesn’t do the inside justice. Check out the photos before going and you’ll see why. Inside it is quaint and modern with an Italian winery vibe. The restaurant screams date night not pizzeria take-out. There’s no yelling or anything that can be found in a place specifically designed for families although they are certainly welcomed. Came in for lunch and their lunch menu was Not available this particular day. The bread basket was deliciously soft and had the texture of a garlic knot. I probably had too many and spoiled my appetite from how good they were! We shared the calamari which wasn’t anything special but a heaping portion of them. Then we had the rigatoni bolognese which was creamy, flavorful, and big serving enough to take home! Finally we ended it with a tiramisu which was like 2hx4lx4w aka huge! I don’t usually like tiramisu but it was really yummy but still somewhat defrosting. Johnny, our waiter, consistently checked in on us to make sure that everything was good. I have been to Cafe Baci a few times now and I have to say every time, I have enjoyed my experience. My absolute favorite is the tartufo dessert. But everything is delicious on the menu. I tried the Chocolate Martini and it was so good. The calamari was just right as well. Keep in mind that this restaurant gets pretty busy but luckily I was able to get seated right away which was great. Overall lovely experience once again.
