The first time I've been to the Cafe was in August this year and it was really a pleasant surprise. Since then, I go there on a regular basis. The coffee and smoothie over there are AMAZING!!! The food also tastes good and is very affordable with honest portions. Breakfast Wrap, Eggs benedict and salmon avo stack are three of my favourite dishes and definitely recommend them! The staff are very friendly as well. If you just want some quick, delicious food and coffee, this is the place to go to.
I decided to grab breakfast here on the way to a nearby appointment. It was a good choice. Efficient and friendly service, I had the eggs Benedict and they were great. Generous serving of well cooked food... Soft poached eggs, crispy bacon, avocado on toasted muffin with loads of yummy hollandaise sauce... I enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it for a causal breakfast on you own or with friends
We went to Café Bien this morning for tea and coffee and realized that they didn't serve tea in a pot! All they gave us was a teabag in a mug of hot water and charged us $3.50 for it!! And yet a teabag only costs 20 cents so this is definitely a rip-off! Beware: tea-drinkers - don't ever go there for a cuppa; you might as well get more satisfaction out of drinking tea at home!!
I often stay overnight nearby and find this cafe provides quick friendly service. They dish up a good range of cheaper and more expensive options and the food is brought to you fast! Quite a lot of staff from the Mater move in and out with a take-away coffee or meal and they appreciate the speed and efficiency of the staff who are always exceptionally nice to deal with ... Don't get me wrong, I love a plate of fancy food as much as the next person but sometimes you don't want all the fluff - just good honest café style food. That is what you will get at Café Bien and that is what keeps me coming back time and again - oh and they great coffee helps too! Friendly staff and no fuss service plus it's really well priced.
We only had breakfast here. The service was great, the servings were generous and the prices were very reasonable and, importantly, excellent coffee. Highly recommended if staying in the area.
Big breakfast was good quality and good value for money, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Orders are taken at the counter.. I would be happy to eat here again.
