Cafe Blaues Haus

This café has two sections store that sell decorative items for the house and cafe part where you can order breakfast, a light lunch or afternoon tea. What makes the place special is the beautiful garden with pastel blue-diemed furniture to enjoy your meal. We had only wine while there, but with such a beautiful environment, a limited menu and self-service, there is not much that can go wrong. Just enjoy the flowers, plants and sparrows in the garden!

We did not know what to expect in the noon, but were pleasantly surprised to find a combination of cafe and shop with really unusual (blue) decor. The café is self-service and the tables are scattered in several adjoining rooms. We had some homemade soup and bread that was delicious and an ideal snack for usThe coffee and cakes that were enjoyed by others saw absolutely delicious - maybe next time!

I happened to walk by this cute B&B country-style looking house; just had to go inside as it is so inviting. Had a glass of apple juice and a piece of homebaked plum cake outside in the cozy backyard and shopped inside for some colorful household items. Brought my relatives back the next day and they enjoyed the blue Bavarian bistro as well.

The house looks like a B&B in Australia or somewhere in the States and it is as it says, completely blue wooden old-style. The breakfast was good, mainly cheese and it is a pity that they do not offer eggs or more meat variety. It is self service and people are very nice and friendly. Worth a visit.

I had a coup of tea at this place. It is nice and cosy. Very friendly interior décor. Shop and Café at the same time. Lovely garden. One has the impression to be in Berlin or Munich, very stylish, very en vogue. I liked it a lot. Service was ok.
