In September 2022, we were able to reconfirm our wedding at the Schafhof, the European Künstlerhaus Oberbayern. The Cafe Botanika is wonderfully integrated into its premises and the cafe team has taken over our entire catering and service for our celebration. The location is really special, embedded in the beautiful hilly landscape at the edge of Freising. Our celebration took place in the afternoon in the beautiful garden, for the evening we had rented the architecturally impressive and very generous barrel vault of the Künstlerhaus in the 1st OG. When I turned onto the driveway as directed by GPS, and passed through the open gate onto a narrow road, I was uncertain this would lead to lunch. But I continued up the hill and finally found what seemed to be a sort of art exhibit...still unsure about finding food here, I went inside and found the comfortable cafe with a weekly changing menu as well as a regular menu of breakfasts, lunch, and drinks. There are more than enough attractive and healthy options for vegetarians and even vegans, including milk alternatives for espresso drinks. Everything I ordered was delicious and nicely presented. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or brunch!
Wonderful ambience with many super-tasting diverse pleasures and perfect service. We were on October 02 22 to brunch on site. The breakfast buffet and the hot dishes tasted very good. At the same time, the European Kunstrhaus - here is the Café Botanika spaciously integrated - was able to admire the current exhibition. A highlight is surely also a stay in the garden with beautiful weather. Here are alternating seating and lounge areas, a stage and a lot of green. Conclusion: We'll be back in any case. Nach der Neueröffnung eine interessante Speise- und Getränkekarte; sicherlich sehr "grün" angehaucht. Der Kuchen war von guter Qualität und die angebotene Tagessuppe war schmackhaft. Wunderschöner Garten. Ob das ein Ort der Ruhe und Entspannung wird, bleibt abzuwarten, denn bei unserem Besuch an einem wunderschönen Nachmittag waren vier Mütter mit acht bis zwölf Kinder (Alter 2 bis 5 Jahre) mit dem entsprechenden Lärm- und Geräuschpegel zu Gast. Wir waren am Wochenende zum Kaffee im Cafe Botanika. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen, der Service war auch ausgesprochen freundlich. Sehr grosse Auswahl an Kuchen und Gebäck. Toll sind die veganen Alternativen wie der Chia-Pudding oder vegane Ingwer-Cookies. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
