absolutely terrible service and very rude staff, only because it suddenly became busy after a long whole day thunderstorm and suddenly all came for beer and ice. I asked for a beer and some water for the dog and was water refused for. the dog, but I found a dog bowl outside, which had filled with the youngest storm rainwater, so hollie did not go thirsty. the service was over slow and the fee for a beer of 8.50 € was not waiting the 15 minutes. the same big beer hoegaarden at the local camping bar where we camp was just € 4.80 as comparison. the ice machine had a fault and there was water on the floor, which was a danger of slipping. overall no great experience and will certainly not visit t...
we arrived in les eyzies in time before the museum reopens on the afternoon at 14:00. we found this caffe conveniently located, with a covered outdoor terrace. we had a hauch of bergerac. one of us had the tarte. chorizo and one had the lasagne. both were very delicious, well prepared and simply presented. we had a large selection of ice creams for dessert. we were back for coffee when they went through to visit various caves. the staff is friendly and helpful.
On holiday with our friends, the Kirklands, we celebrated their daughter’s 20th one evening at this friendly brasserie. Nice selection of dishes on the menu I had duck cassoulet, which was yummy, my wife had chicken chips. Everyone else enjoyed theirs and the...Bergerac wines we had were delicious. At times a bit slow due being busy and staff shortages, but our waiter was charming and attentive.
this is the first place to travel in 3 weeks in France, where we have finally heard excellent music as a great background to eat good food, light as well as gastronomic restaurants. instead of the American pop (a haunting entry into our French travel experience) they play...Jazz, world music and French music. excellent environment for a nice and relaxing lunch.

had a good lunch, especially because it is in a tourist area. had a burger montagarde: ente burger with reblochoncheese and fritten and fön disguised. Very good. service friendly. omelette, cheeseburger and canard (duck) were also delicious.
