Cafe Brasserie de la Mairie

I'm pretty surprised to see the harsh comments on this restaurant. The welcome was very good for us and our dog, we went there twice in the week! food may not be at the height of a 100% local and artisanal restaurant, but the menu is at 16€ ... you have to do the part of things ... in short we have eaten well for cheap and it is 2 steps from the market and the international center of prehistory.

the reception is very pleasant, we were offered to eat on the terrace or inside. we chose the terrace because it was beautiful and we wanted to enjoy it. The service is very friendly we don't even stress if there were a lot of people. dishes are very good and well cooked; the value/price ratio is very well.

after wishing the hello and politely asked for a table for 6 people from 2 respective servers, a third person finally replied dryly that a wet table without shelter (immediate rainfall risk) was available. Half-turn: no merchant at all. It's okay, other professionals around them.

relatively fade even in desserts. I asked for a dish without cooking oil because of allergy of intolerance. My request has not been taken into account. The salad is drowned in a pre-prepared white vinaigrette sauce. I've been drinking without pleasure. It's expensive for lunch.

Very local food that's pretty decent. A nice wine menu that's inexpensive. The service is slow as molasses though so expect to spend a lot of time here.
